Welcome to Page Two
Here is what N110LR looks like today.

N110LR first flew in September 1984. It has apx 500 hours. Under the cowl sits a 2.3 Ltr type 4 VW, turning a Sturba 54X52 Cut down to 52x52 Maximum speed is not recorded yet. I have a GPAS intake manifold, Revflow Carb and currently a Bosch 009 distributor, as well as a Slick magneto. This craft origainally weighted 578 and had grown to 615 at it's last weigh in. The current paint job was sprayed in 1995.

N110LR was aquired in boat stage from the 3rd builder in 1983, after obtaining my private ticket. Originally built as a retract and later converted to the fixed gear. The fixed gear has allowed more flexibility in being able to land on soft fields.

An almost quote from Ken Rand goes " Any thing that you think that you want in your KR, you should gather up and throw into the air. Anything that stays up, you can put into the KR, everything ealse leave it off and save weight. I violated that by quite a bit. N110LR has, wing tanks, vacuum venturi, electric trim, landing light, strobe, position lights and a big battery

In the cockpit N110LR has AS, Hor, Alt, T and B, VSI, Dual EGT/CHT, Volts, Manifold, Oil press and Temp, Fuel, Wet Compass. Switches for lights, trim, fuel transfer CHT and EGT Position. Portable GPS, Loran, Transponder/encoder NAV/COM plus intercom. I have controls for fuel shutoff, throllle, mixture, carb heat and cabin heat.
